Why are Proper Shoes Important
The Definition of a Shoes is a covering for the foot, having a STURDY sole
A good shoe has a firm sole! A firm sole allows for proper posture when walking and moving. The firm sole can be the difference in a good shoe and a great shoe! A great shoes has the firm sole with an arch support, as appeared in the adidas boosts and brooks.
For all injuries it is important to avoid compensations. When wearing bad shoes the muscles in your feet are weakened and as a result injury risk increases. Foot and arch strength is correlated to back pain, knee pain and injury and most significantly ankle injuries. There is also a relation to the prognosis or length of recovery from these injuries with improper shoes.
