Is your child interested in taking summer school courses at Alvin Community college? Taking dual enrollment courses through ACC gives your child an opportunity to take college courses while they are in high school. Dual enrollment college courses are offered at a reduced cost, so taking them while enrolled in high school can save your student both time and money compared to taking courses in college or at a university after they graduate from high school.

The in-person classes are at Dawson High School this summer and there are also online options.

Summer registration begins April 4. Students can email our ACC advisor, Mrs. Maartens at CMaartens@alvincollege.edu or go see her during Eagle Hour at Dawson on Tuesdays or Thursdays to register for summer courses.
